Clarion Inn & Suites Across From Universal Orlando Resort

Ideal location for a short stay like a week, great staff and super helpful...

Pros: The location, it was easy for us to get where we wanted to get to from here. The staff are really lovely and helpful. The Indian restuarant serves authentic asian food, we sat in and had take aways most nights.

Cons: Its up to the individual, we asked for a room clean and new towels half way through the week and it didnt get done, when we mentioned it to supervisor he told us it had been down as completed, he wasnt too happy and made sure it would be done the next day for us, and it was.

Pros: I loved how private it felt, I could always go for a late night walk and feel safe hanging out by the lake if I needed some air. But it's close enough that I hadn't wondered off. The air con. Ice cold ! Also the bed ... The bed !!!! Fantastic. Please tell me what exact mattress topper you use please !!!

Cons: There was a lack of food options. After a few nights you get a bit fed up with indian haha. But besides that the place was great

A good night's stay

Pros: It was a decent property for a night's stay. The rooms were a little dark and the sink was outside the bathroom - which I found a little odd.

Second time staying, and didn’t disappoint!!

Pros: Location was great for universal, awesome cafe on site, pool is great, rooms are spacious and comfortable This was our second time staying here and it didn’t disappoint! Will be back.

Perfect for a stay at Universal - nearly excellent

Pros: Very small cosy hotel. The staff at the reception was very friendly and was quick & easy to check in and out. The shuttle from the hotel to Universal was perfect organized! The rooms also very clean!

Cons: Our room was in front of the refrigeration system of the restaurant, so sometimes it was a bit to noisy. The hotel wasn’t fully booked - so maybe it would be an option don’t rent this room. The pool was closed, because of renovation - of course nessecary - but a information before our arrival would be service excellent.

Pros: It is walking distance from the main Universal Parks and it has a great restaurant. We enjoyed the pool and made most of having the Park shuttle arrive at the hotel

Very good for a short stay when visiting Universal

Pros: Friendly , clean, good restaurant,snack and bar facilities. Pool looked good but weather too cold to try. Good location close to City walk and Universal. Good value for money

Cons: Stayed in suite as more than two of us and although plenty of living area the bathroom was very small. Quite noisy from early morning due to proximity to major road. This was fine for a one night stay but not sure how it would have been if we had stayed for several days.

I recommend

Pros: Great hotel! Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, and a beautiful pool area with palm trees. Everything was tidy and relaxing, and the hot tub was amazing. Even though it’s near the road, it was still very peaceful. And don't look at the bad photo reviews, because they made me wary for no reason!

Cons: The bad thing is that there is no breakfast included. There is a restaurant with Indian cuisine on site, convenient if you like spicy food.

Good for Universal vacation

Pros: Very close to Universal (walking distance) with nearby restaurant and outlet area (better by car)

Cons: Small toilet/bathroom. Very loud A/C, even with fan on low. Very little light
