Great stay at Universal with everything you need.

Pros: Staff at check in (Olga) was excellent. Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Made us feel very welcome and advised us on early check in, luggage storage, etc as we arrived very early. Good room with the amenities we needed. Great transportation to the parks, literally everything you need for a visit to Universal at a competitive price.

Book here for a convenient hotel while visiting Universal Studios

Pros: So convenient for Universal Studios. Bus system they have is well organised and easy to navigate with buses coming every 15 minutes. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

Cons: We got stuck in the elevator one night. It was promptly resolved but for a hotel of that size, a little disappointing.

Good spot, great value for money.

Pros: Great location, bus service. Good food. Room clean and tidy.

Cons: Would like to have a cola freestyle machine on each floor, or at least a water tap instead you have to walk 5 mins to get fill a water bottle.

Universal Dockside

Pros: Great location so close to. universal parks and the I Drive. Shuttles provided to the parks if required. Early hours to Universal parks a bonus.

Cons: Having to pay for parking adds an extra expense to the stay, other locations parking is free. Housekeeping in rooms could be improved, floors should be cleaned / vacuumed at least not just swept. Corridor carpets a bit worn and looking tired. Top floor room and heavy rain very loud draining via downpipe audible in room awoke us in the night.

Cons: Nothing.

Best value hotel on Universal Property

Pros: We love this hotel. Having stayed many times before , we will continue to come back. The hotel has everything you need especially considering how it compares in cost to other universal hotels. It’s perfectly placed between epic universe and city walk meaning the bus is no longer than 10 minutes to each. There is a walgreens close by to get food and drinks as well as plenty of other food options if you don’t want to eat on property. The rooms are spacious and clean.

Cons: I’m being very picky here because this hotel is fantastic all round. The queues for the bus were sometimes quite long and would take 3/4 bus loads of people before you could get on (all down to timing avoid half hour before park opening so you don’t experience this) The walls were quite thin, especially if you have an adjoining room door - you could hear the people’s conversation next door. Bring body wash as they only provide you with a bar of soap. Again that’s me being very picky over small things that didnt impact our stay in the slightest.
