Cambria Hotel Orlando near Universal Theme Parks

Perfect for few night stay

Pros: Nice rooms, everything was clean, good value and perfect location if you want to stay close to the Universal Orlando Resort

Cons: The soundproof of the room was not very bad but also not great

Cons: a major downside is that the windows cannot be opened, so there’s no way to get fresh air into the room. There is a mobile air conditioner, but it’s quite noisy, even on the lowest setting. The windows are very thin, so you can hear a lot of noise from the street, and the walls are also quite thin – at night, we could clearly hear people coming and going in the neighboring rooms.

Helpful, nice staff members, problem with operations (new supervisor)

Pros: The location The employees at the reception, maintenance, and housekeeping, EXCEPT the new supervisor's boss or manager... who leaves a new supervisor on the job in the middle of summer without proper training?

Cons: The new supervisor! We would have rated Cambria with 3 stars only because of this situation, but the rest of the staff was so helpful and nice that it wouldn't be fair. We arrived on a Tuesday, and because of the housekeeping policies, we were told we wouldn't get our room cleaned until the third day, which was fine. The third day came, and we even double-checked the night before... but nothing, we did not get our room cleaned on Friday. When we called reception, they seemed shocked as it was written in the system. Housekeeping for our room was indeed properly booked for that day, but it was after 9 pm when we got back. They apologized, and they immediately sent someone to get our garbage. They made sure once again that our room would be booked to get properly cleaned the next day, on Saturday. Saturday came... nothing once again, no housekeeping. The lady at the reception was shocked as it was clearly written in the system. It was really late, we were tired, but they still offered to send someone immediately to clean the room. A very nice man from maintenance did a great job cleaning while we waited at the balcony. Pros: I like that property was central and it was easy to get to everywhere

Cons: There welcome sheet needs to be updated, house keeping only comes on the 3rd day m but I didn’t receive any house keeping through the duration I stayed

Great location, friendly staff - what's not to like

Pros: The location was great for us as we used it as a launchpad to Disney and Universal Parks. The hotel was older, but totally clean throughout and no real signs of wear. The staff were happy and helpful. My wife and I found the bed to be very comfortable.

Cons: Some may not like the smell of Indian food from the open-plan restaurant on the ground floor - my wife and I love Indian food, so that wasn't a problem for us at all and wasn't really strong either.

This hotel was fantastic. Ideal location, great food overall I definitely enjoyedmy stay and would highly recommend!!!

Pros: Rooftop Restaurant was not as inviting as no came to attend to me and another group to have dinner. Other than that, great hotel love it!

Met all of my expectations. A pleant start to my holiday.

Pros: The hotel was modern and comfortable. We ate a meal on the evening of 12th in the attractive rooftop bar. Food prices were reasonable.

Pros: Location was perfect very central for everything we were doing. Staff were friendly and helpful with requests we had and pointed out the additional parking they had after our late night arrival

Pros: Location was great for Universal. Room was good. Loved the swimming pool
