The Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando

Pros: Spacious suites, open access to all facilities, somewhat responsive staff

Cons: Bedrooms could be refreshed, we saw a cockroach though we were staying on the ground floor, not a lot of deck seating at the waterpark and pool sides, boat access is very limited because they are short on staff

A great family location

Pros: The property was very comfortable and spacious. The beds are fantastic. My family stayed for a week and it was a great location to come back after visiting the Disney Parks. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a theme park shuttle that operates daily. Once, the shuttle did not show and the hotel reimbursed us the cost of an Uber. The water parks are clean and a good way to relax and unwind. There is also an amusement lounge and mini golf on site. The gym is a bit better than basic and contains a mixture of machines and free weights. You can choose a room option with kitchenette, washer and dryer. Starbucks is available from the shop near the lobby.

Cons: The room came with a basic welcome kit containing some room essentials but no coffee or tea. There were no tea towels / dish cloths. The corridors need some attention (cosmetic) and the elevators are a bit clunky. The shop does not display prices and is quite expensive. Consider using Uber eats or similar. The hotel is somewhat isolated.

We had a great time and I would stay here again.

Pros: We had a great time and it was a good value for what we paid. We felt safe and the hotel was well maintained. The Christmas decor was a nice touch. The room was modern and as advertised. Overall it was a spacious room and everything was cleaned well. The staff were very helpful especially at the bell desk. On two occasions they helped us with our bags. Also, We enjoyed our time at the Waterpark and pools. There is plenty to do at the resort.

Cons: There was no hand soap in the suite bathroom. My only complaint was that the trash was not removed daily and we did not receive fresh linens daily. Housekeeping should be optional add on as we were willing to pay for service.

Great place, kids loved slides and lazy river. Great staff and modern rooms at the terraces.

Pros: Terraces had modern buildings and rooms. Pool at terraces really quiet and clean. Friendly staff.

Cons: No bar at terraces.

Great water park, shame about the rest …

Pros: The property itself is wonderful. The water park is great for kids of all ages and there is a good range food and drink on offer there. The rooms were comfortable and very spacious

Cons: Our room wasn’t ready until almost two-hours after check-in time. My elderly parents had to walk over to the pool area and sit in the sun there. They said because I had an international telephone number, they could not let me know when the room was ready, I just had to keep walking backwards and forwards - it’s a long way! The door room to our room did not lock. I reported this to concierge on several occasions, but nothing was ever done about it which meant that we had to carry all of our valuables with us at all times. The restaurants were grossly understaffed. On arriving for breakfast we were asked to wait for twenty minutes before being seated, even though the restaurant was less than half full. A bit of a disappointment really as the property has huge potential

Love the place but don’t like the car park fee!

Pros: Love the accommodation. We had a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom superior condo with lake view. I would highly recommend this type. The laundry room is my favourite part !!! Came home with no dirty laundry! The space is fabulous. Beds are very comfortable. Air con works great. Balcony was lovely with mosquito nets so can sit outside comfortably.

Cons: I didn’t like there were no cleaning equipment like a sweeping brush or mop as cleaning/room service is not standard which is fine but I would have liked to be able to sweep the floors. Also the car park charge is hugely disappointing 😳 €29 per day is ridiculous 🙄

The pools are great!

Pros: The pools / pool park are what we like and the Lazy River!

Cons: Problems with the internet! Also I've been coming here for years and it seems now that the resort is charging for everything better Internet there's a charge a roll of toilet paper there's a charge. Need another dish washer cube there's a charge!

Pros: We loved our stay here. The staff at reception were always so helpful. The pools and lazy river were also a big hit. Highly recommend. Close to Disney and other parks also.

Pros: A spacious 2 bedroom apartment for a family of 4. The water park was an added bonus and very enjoyable. We stayed for a week and would definitely recommend The Grove Resort.

Cons: The windows need to be cleaned more often, they were very dirty, plus the runners to the sliding door to the balcony. The kitchen needs to be better equipped with cooking equipment.

Great option for a short vacation with small kids

Pros: Great place for a short vacation with small kids. The water park is small and nice, good enough for ine day for the little ones.

Cons: Not a lot of food options. They charge$ 30 for parking and you have no choice... It's not really a water park, basically 2 slides, a pool and a lazy river.
